Today we had to do a bunch of pre-op stuff..she had a CT this morning which she did really well and surprised everyone..the tech wasn’t sure why they didn’t sedate her but I said that she will do just fine..and she didn’t let me down and did wonderful…then we seen a bunch of different dr.s and nurses..and business office stuff…and then she had to get labs done to check her blood count and also to check how her blood clots..standard procedure before a surgery I guess..she did great for that to..She shocked me on that one.but Daddy went with her this time and she just woke up from a nap so maybe that helped..She fell asleep waiting for the last doctor…
Then around four we came back to the house and she got to play in the playroom for awhile and she found the kids library filled with a ton of kids books and was happy. Here are some of the pictures of the house we are staying in…the street is lined with these old victorian houses..and they are pretty neat… This the one we are staying in…
Back view of house..
This is the Ronald McDonald house that is right next to us..please tell me im not the only one that pictured all Ronald McDonald houses to look like McDonalds….I was very shocked…lol!
Another Victorian house across from our house…Jared claims that we are in a rich neighborhood and these houses cost millions of dollars..I don’t know if I believe him or not..
and one more..just because
Avery and Bert….I had the hardest time getting her to go up to the dog..she thought he was real..lol! But after she realized he wasn’t she liked him
Spring is here too…the tree right out side of our house..
The playroom…
The other side of the room..the family room…check out the wood trim…pretty sure its original..
The front entry way…where you walk into…every room is off of this room..the kitchen..the relaxation room..and the family room.
The relaxation room..
The kitchen…where you have a bin in the fridge and a bin in the pantry for pantry food..but someone decided they would drink most of our milk last night while we were sleeping…urgh!!!!
For supper tonight we went on an adventure…we went walking the streets of downtown Brookline.. and the following pictures are from our walk..it was kind of cool..I am amazed at how many people walk/run and ride bike everywhere..and rely on public transportation.
The train goes right through the middle of the two roads..
It was weird to see stores like pier 1 and gap and lots of different like this…and CVS literally on every corner..
The train stations..
This building believe it or not is Walgreens…I know right???!!
I thought this church looked really neat…
Well that pretty much sums up our day..Tomorrow morning is the big day..We have to be at the hospital by 600am..and the surgery is at 730..the surgery is about 4.5 hrs long..and they said they will update us every 90 minutes..after they do the triple pelvic osteotomy they will move her hip around and see if it pops out still and if it does they will go ahead and do the femoral osteotomy too…please please say lots of prayers for my little girl tonight and tomorrow morning..and the drs involved..and of course for me..this is hard..probably the hardest thing I have ever done..

Praying all goes well!! You're in my thoughts and prayers! Love & God's Peace, Abby
Wiill be praying my friend....and be anxiously awaiting updates. Love to all of you. Take comfort in the arms of our Lord as He will be with her in surgery, watching carefully over when you feel like all control is lost from you. Hold His hand tight and know He is the one in control and will guide all those doctors and nurses...prayers to Him for success and a uneventful and quick recovery.
Sending prayers your way. You have been on my mind this morning....
